As a result of the restrictions due to Covid-19, TCSA staff have resorted to working online from home whenever possible, although tutors still go to the office and meet with students when needed. Students email their completed work for marking, but can also deliver hard copies to the office.
We are also providing tutorial support online, especially via WhatsApp. During face-to-face meetings we practice social distancing and we sanitize surfaces and hands before and after meetings. We encourage our students to adhere to the government stipulated guidelines to make sure that they are safe, and we stress the importance of pastors and leaders teaching their Church members how to be safe during the pandemic. Our WhatsApp groups are our most powerful means of communication and have almost 400 members.
